It’s been an ultra long time since I’ve posted any individual sessions to my blog. In this time, I’ve photographed SO many teens, seniors, families, babies, events, etc. All the things… Sometimes I just forget to share them because life pulls me in so many directions. It’s not the best excuse, but it’s mine.
Unfortunately for me, blogging is like – literally the biggest key in keeping a photography business visible on the google, so here I am… giving it one more try. I mean, who am I kidding though, it likely won’t be my last try.
When I pulled up last year’s sessions to blog, this one was my favorite one to start with.
Abby’s been on my Teen A-Team since its inception, and was a part of my Class of 2022 A-Team. She’s been in front of my camera so many times I honestly can’t begin to remember all of our sessions together right now, but her big senior session was easily my favorite. I loved every outfit she chose, and every detail she put together with her wardrobe and accessories. I love that when I found a funky hat that I felt might fit, she rolled with it and trusted me even though she thought it may be too far outside her comfort zone. I love that in the middle of downtown Nashville, she – in all her ballerina glory – threw on a bright yellow tutu and flounced up the pedestrian bridge in front of a WORLD of people having a rally of some sorts. I love that she and her mom shared the afternoon with me, laughing our asses off and running around town finding perfect places to go.
It was the best day. Then, to top it all off, we wound up in a flower field for her final outfit because we ran out of time (it was a whole downtown parking garage thing). Honestly, it was a happy mistake.
Thanks for sharing your senior year with me, Abby! It was such a good one.
