Sophomore year!!!

Johnathan is on my Ultimate High School Experience plan, which means we document his ENTIRE high school experience – Freshman through Senior year! His family has unlimited* sessions with me throughout 9-12 grade, which include family mini sessions, special occasions, and prom / cap & gown / etc. when we get closer to 12th grade! This plan is one of my favorites – I love watching these kids grow throughout high school, and every single year brings a different side of them in front of the camera that I didn’t see before. It’s a lot of fun!!

John was actually scheduled for his Sophomore session this summer, but because he unexpectedly had to have surgery, we moved his session up to prior to surgery so he would have full mobility / wouldn’t be recovering for his session. I’m so glad we did, too! I feel like the session was perfect and we got to really celebrate the here and now before his surgery. We literally had his gallery reveal the night before he went into the hospital! It was quite emotional for his mama… Making moms cry is one of my specialities, though.

For his session, Johnathan brought his brother’s dog Max with him. Max was SO sweet and wasn’t camera shy at all!!! We had a great session, and ended up wrapping the sesh at his grandparents’ warehouse in town that processes local honey. The flowers in the very last slide were some that were planted by Johnathan and his sister Anabel!

If you’re interested in Ultimate High School Experience, I’m currently booking freshmen NOW! *unlimited = up to four per year. I use the term unlimited because no one needs more than four sessions a year unless they’re on a baby plan LOL!
