Normally – Well, I guess not normally anymore, but before 2020 I used to blog every session once the senior/teen/kid/family/client saw their images. It was a fun way to talk about their photo session & to share pics from their session on my website! Most everyone loves having their images featured, and it’s a lot of fun for me to go back through and write about the sessions.
2020 was a totally different story. I think we can all agree that 2020 wasn’t our *favorite* year, and that there wasn’t a ton of really fun things to talk about… It left me in a lil bit of a funk, to be honest. This has nothing to do with the session I’m blogging now, but has everything to do with why I didn’t really blog much last year and why I’m *JUST NOW* blogging last year’s sessions.
ANYWAYS – Tori!!!!!
Even though 2020 was completely unpredictable and bizarre, I still had some REALLY GREAT sessions, and I loved them all so much! Tori’s was so much fun!!! I love her style SO DANG MUCH. She wanted more of an urban edge to her pics, and due to Covid restrictions we were sort of confined to Robertson County — We found some GREAT spots nonetheless and got some really really great images! I loved this session with my whole heart, y’all.
Her jumpsuit was perfect for the old gas station we started at.
Her hair + skirt matched the rust on the old building perfectly, and the images just popped.
The sun shining on her face with those kick-ass red glasses was LITERAL perfection.
Her next look was PERFECT for one of my favorite walls in Springfield.
We found this cool graffiti bus and got permission to shoot with it.
Her scarf + headband for the final outfit matched my favorite orange mid-century modern chair that I brought with me that day…
When I tell you I could go on and on about the reasons I loved this session, I’m not kidding.
Thank you for being on my 2021 team, Tori – and thank you for trusting me with your senior year. It’s been so much fun getting to know you and your mama!!!!
