Savannah! Y’all. This girl right here is gorgeous!!! I’m so glad she joined my team this year because I feel like I’ve really been able to get to know her and her family even more than I already did. My Clayton has danced with Savannah for the past 4 (is it five?) years, so we’ve been around her and her mama for a while now, but this year I’ve really been able to get to know them. I love chatting with Tiffany about running a small business (she owns Dance South), and I love small talking with Savannah about school and dance and all the things. It’s been fun to get to know them and to call them friends!
Savannah just shines in front of the camera. She requires very little direction and when I do give direction it’s taken and executed effortlessly. It’s just so easy to shoot with her. And fun!
For Savannah’s session we wanted to hit Nashville and do something different that represented her. She threw on her mama’s cowboy boots for her first outfit and we hit the Pedestrian Bridge downtown. I loved all of her outfits so much, but the second one … the romper with the sequins… that one has to be my favorite! I love all the sparkles!!!!
Y’all know I love to just hop in the car and blow where the wind takes me when it comes to my sessions. I mean, I love a good plan – but I’m also okay if the plan is to really not have a plan. I love stopping fast when I see something cool or beautiful. I love that all the sessions are different, you know… We can really tailor them to the individual and the day. I love it!! Most of Savannah’s session was done this way. We knew the vibe we were searching for, but we weren’t married to any particular place so we just rolled with it. I *love* them and I love this gal!
