Ahh! What a fun session. I love the ones where we hop in the car and really don’t know what the plan is other than to just find some rad spots and take some gorgeous images. That’s 100% what we did, y’all. This girl is beautiful, so it wasn’t hard to do – obviously.

The only thing I knew *for sure* was that we wanted to have some that featured her jeep – her amazing orange jeep that apparently her family built from a run down one [whaaat – that’s crazy talent, right?] Otherwise, I knew she liked my aesthetic and my eye, and she told me she trusted me. I love that more than anything because I don’t have to worry about meeting any expectations other than realistic ones – which, for the most part my clients are really good at having.

We knew for sure that our plan was to end up in the creek, so we saved our favorite creek outfit for last and sort of worked our way toward it stopping around town at some cool spots and grabbing pics at different places. We went all over Springfield and even knocked on a door to borrow a sunflower patch in someone’s front yard! It really was so much fun — SO HOT, but so much fun!!!

THANK YOU for trusting me to take your senior portraits, Michala! I can’t wait to see your album in person – I’ll pack some extra tissues for your mama! xoxo
