When I first met Eve at an event in town I stopped her and went on and on about her outfit b/c she looked so cute in her Hey Belle sweater and vintage bellbottoms. I didn’t realize she was the cousin to one of my current reps (woot Alainie!), and had no idea she was an upcoming Senior, but I’m SO glad I stopped her that day! Within hours she had applied to be a rep and was scheduled for her mini-session and summer senior portrait session!
For Eve’s mini-sesh we wanted to do something with more of an urban feel, so we hung out around downtown Springfield and used some of my favorite places [and a new one for me] to shoot.
I really am so in love with color right now, and am loving the monochromatic trend that I’m seeing in photography, so when I saw that the backside of the Robertson County Times building was practically the same color as Eve’s shirt, I got excited and rolled with it. I’ve never actually shot the backside of this building before because typically there are cars parked there, but we got lucky that day and had some space. I love the way they turned out!
I’m really over-the-moon to have Eve on the team this year. She’s from JBHS, and I’ve never had anyone from JBHS on a team for me, so I’m excited to hopefully meet some folks from a new school! She also plays volleyball and works at the Copper Vault in town. My fave thing is that she’s fashion forward and a natural in front of the camera. I love that! I can’t wait to work with her more this year and see what we put together!
Welcome to the Class of 2020 Shelby Andal Photography A-Team, Eve! Can’t wait to kick it with you this year!
