riley | class of 2019

Y’all.

This girl right here!

I have had the most amazing time getting to know her and her family this year. The first time I had her in front of my camera was for her Junior prom in May (pictures below), and I just fell in love with her energy and her vibe. She’s kind and smart and has a soft confidence about her that I feel like really is captured in her images. Plus — she’s BEAUTIFUL. Like. Gorgeous. We’ve done multiple sessions this year with Riley, so I’m going to try to pick a few favorites from each of her sessions to share!

First of all, Riley is on my 2019 A Team, which is a senior model representative / brand ambassador team of girls in Robertson County that represent Shelby Andal Photography. You can read more about the A Team and apply for a spot on the 2020 Team HERE.

Riley is into so many things that we decided to do two separate sessions: One that would be more of a standard senior portrait session, and one that would focus on her sports + extra-curriculars. We had so much fun during both!! I loved hanging out on her family’s farm in Cross Plains and kicking it with the cows for a little while. For her sports session, we did a few things. First, we met at the school and took pics in the gym in her basketball gear and outside on the steps behind the school – which, incidentally is one of my favorite places, though I think they’ve painted the steps since and that makes me a little sad… I digress. After gym/basketball/FFA pictures, we headed to Kenny Perry’s Country Creek Golf Course in Franklin, KY to capture some pictures of Riley doing her golf thing! We rode around on golf carts and chased the sun and got some BEAUTIFUL images!

Riley’s family also decided to add a family session to her senior year as well. You’ve heard me talk about this, but I love when families decide to do this. It’s really a great time to put everyone in front of the camera TOGETHER to capture some family photographs before college / life after high school.

Thanks for choosing me to capture this extra special year, Cook family. I hope to be able to continue to capture all the big moments for your sweet family for many years to come!
