I love when my senior parents add on a family session. This year, I started running a special for senior parents to add on a family session and several families decided to take advantage of it. I really love this idea because so often this is the last opportunity most families take to have professional portraits made before their kids are parents themselves. That usually means we go *years* without having professional portraits made after graduation, and well… that makes me sad.
I did McKenzie’s senior portraits this summer, and I’ll eventually go back and blog those, but I wanted to share this family session too. I have really grown to love this little family! I’ve loved getting to know them this year and I’ve loved helping Leanna decorate her home with pictures of her kiddos.
Also, can we just talk about how they look like total badasses? Because they do.
I love an urban/city family session. Y’all know that. It’s one of my favorite things. Some of my favorite photos taken of my family were just taken in the parking lot of a warehouse and I love them so much.
When I asked Leanna if she wanted “fall foliage” for her family session she said she wanted to do something a little different and more suited to her family. I’m currently obsessed with this concrete wall, and she was game so we rolled with it! I’m a real fan, you guys. Leanna ordered a fine art print of the four of them, and I ordered a canvas of the same photo in black and white to go in the new studio space. I love this vibe.
