I’ve been photographing this family since they were a family of 3, which just blows my mind. Amelia has been in front of my camera since she was SUPER tiny; Jasper was the very first newborn session I ever did; and I was in the room when Milo was born. Felix is brand new and this was the first time I got to meet him (they live 2 hours away now, so it’s not as easy to pop by). Isn’t he just the cutest thing? He reminds me so much of his big brother when he was a baby. He has those big Deal eyes that are just beautiful…
When we first started planning this session I suggested we do something more “urban” which is totally my fave and of course Jodi was on board. I love when a family just trusts me… I’m sure people driving by while we were taking these photos on the back of a department store thought we were *nuts* but really really love the way they turned out.
When I drove up, I was immediately grabbed by those yellow pipes, so there we were… A lot of things lined up for us to end up in this location that day (forgetting about the Springfield Christmas Parade being one of them), so I’m really grateful for everyone’s flexibility and willingness to do something different! Different is my FAVE.
Side bar: During this session I literally started crying because they were all so precious together.
